Since then,I have met Christina a few more times and have seen how multi faceted she really is. At one of those meeting I did an interview with her which I am now going to share.

Prague/ Kiev, Ukraine. My husband I took a group of teenagers to Kiev to conduct  a children’s camp. This was an area of deep poverty. The children came to the camp with a plastic shoppin bag that held a change of clothes, bathi suit, a bar of soap, toothbrush and paste and a comb. It was humbling to see how the people lived compared to our standards in the U.S. The children were content and happy. The beauty was in the people. My life was richer spending time. The experience had a profound effect on the teens we brought. Our journey took us to Prague after the camp and the contrast was indescribable. The city was amazing and beautiful. OUr time was limited, but I have plans to return.

8) What are The Finer Things in Your Life?

Family/Children/Friends. My life would be empty without the love of my husband and kids.

Image“So Good to give back!”  I feltl that way on February 28th when I attended and worked at The Launch Party for Weddings For Heroes.

Last year I met Sandi Silva on Facebook and was lucky enough to meet her last spring and do some work with last summer. I knew as soon as we met that this was a woman I was meant to know for so many reasons.

Last summer when I delivered Parlor Room Gift Baskets to her for an upcoming wedding, she mentioned to me that there was going to be a lauch party that was going to closer to me. I did not really think of it again until I found out that she and her wonderful group were launching Weddings For Heroes.

Weddings For Heroes provides weddings for U.S. military personnel. U.S. combat veterans and active duty military who are facing hardships, or are underprivileged as not cost to them. How amazing is that!

Then the buzz started that Sandi was going to be on this news station, that radio station and so on. I heard the interview on WCBS radio and was so impressed!

Then,I knew The Launch Party was taking place on February 28th at The Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank,New Jersey.I knew I had to attend but the big question was how do I get there and get back.

It was solved right down to the wire but I got to go. My trip was not to be a solo one. I went with Annette Davidson,an event planner, as well as Susan Ng,of “Naturally Susan’s.”

Christine Brower told us we would be put to work which was exactly what I wanted. Susan,Annette and I helped to set up and to register people and military attending this gala event.

There were raffles including baking lessons with Buddy Valastro from Carlo’s Baskery. Nobody went hungry nor thirsty and vendors got to showcase their creations.People were so generous with their donations.

The night was filled with such joy and hope! Miss New Jersey was there being as gracious and helpful as possible. You can see a photo of her on Weddings for Heroes Photos as well as meeting Sandi and more.

We got to meet the next couple receiving a wedding in May.

Eight Questions for Someone Fabulous

1) Give me your vitals and how the public can visit your place of  business.

A) Name:  Susan Ng

B) Name of Business:  Naturally Susan’s LLC

C)Title: Founder and Owner

D)Website and other Pages:

E) Phone:  646-580-6291

2A) How do you describe your company?

Naturally Susan’s is about being kind to your body. It’s about what you put on your body which is as important as what you put in it. I started my business based on a personal need to minimize the amount of toxins and chemicals that my body was being exposed to daily. After much research, I developed skin care products that incorporate natural and organic ingredients, products that continue to resonate with customers who have become increasingly conscientious about what they apply on their skin.

Naturally Susan’s customers experience the effectiveness of the products and many fun elements such as smelling like decadent chocolate while cleansing their face  🙂  My business has expanded to include special occasions such as birthdays and bridal/baby showers.

2B) What is your message to your clients/

Naturally Susan’s customers are very important. I value my relationships with customers and discuss the products with them to make sure they are a fit. If they’re comfortable with some of the products that they’re using, that’s fine. At the end of the day, what’s most important to me is their well-being, so I encourage them to read the product ingredients carefully and to understand what they’re putting in their bodies.

3) For all the aspiring entrepreneurs out there what is the secret of your success?

I believe that it’s important to follow your passion. Explore and pursue your passions with vigor because you never want to look back and have any regrets. And,if you’re passionate about what you’re doing,it resonates.

4) Who are ffour dinner guests you would like at your dinner table? They can be from the past or present, historical figures, celebrities, family members, etc. Why?

This is a tough question because there are so many amazing people. Yet narrowing the long list, I would like to dine with Barbara Walters,Oprah Winfrey,Diane Von Furstenberg, and Coco Chanel. These individuals pursued and built careers in areas that they are/were most passionate about. I admire their persistence and openness to taking risks, despite facing numerous personal and professional obstacles, and I feel there is so much I could learn from them.

5)What is the best gift you ever received?

The unconditional and unwavering support of family and friends

6)What is your guilty pleasure?

Researching and experimenting with natural, organic skin care ingredients has been my passion, so my guilty pleasure has been playing with food. Literally!

7)What is The Most Fabulous Place you ever visited?

Among the places that are on the top of my list is France. It’s all about the fashions, food and culture!

8) What are The Finer Things in Your Life?

For me,the finer things are, in fact, the “finer” things. It’s the little things that make a difference in life. It’s a simple “thank you” to express your appreciation. It’s catching up with friends over a cup of coffee. It’s enjoying a long walk on a beautiful day. These little things are big in my book.
